Currently we pierce ears and nose, but there are some age restrictions to piercings (this applies to cartilage piercing)
We pierce ear lobes from ages 6 months and up. Upper ear and nostril piercing are from 14 years of age. Please note, if you are under 16 years old you will need a parent or adult guardian’s permission and supervision for any piercing.
Piercings are free with any stud purchased from our piercing range.
If you are over 16, you can use our online booking system or talk to a member of staff instore. If you are under 16 you will need to ask a parent or adult guardian to make the booking for you. The adult who makes the booking will also need to attend the actual piercing session too.
Yes please. We will need to check we are piercing that person who has booked, and also check your age if you look under 16.
If you are under 16, the parent or adult guardian who made your booking will also need to bring photo ID with them for us to make your piercing.
Just use the link in your booking confirmation email to change or cancel your appointment. Or pop into the store and a member of the team will be happy to sort it for you.
We don’t use piercing guns or needles, instead we use a single use cartridge system that uses the piercing stud itself. This means that the whole process is completely sterile and your piercing stud is only every used on you.
In short, yes, absolutely. All Bodycare Studios are designed to meet clinical standards and are fully council approved. We use a sterile, single-use cartridge system for your piercing, and your piercing will be carried out by a qualified, piercer – in some locations this could include a registered a nurse.
